Nick Ford

Ian Dighe

Nick joined Miton Group plc from his role as Investment Director on the US and Global Desk at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. He has over 20 years of experience in managing equity funds. His previous roles include co-manager of the Gartmore US Smaller Companies fund, manager of the US unit trusts for Sun Alliance and Clerical Medical, as well as working as a member of the small cap team at F&C Asset Management.  

George Godber

Prior to joining Miton Group plc, George co-founded Matterley in 2008 and was co-manager of the group's flagship Undervalued Assets Fund. This UK fund developed a strong reputation with clients through delivering impressive performance through the volatile markets. Prior to Citywire 1000founding Matterley, George was a Director of Credit Suisse. He has twelve years of complementary market experience   in investment banking and pan-European equities. George is currently ranked in Citywire's 1000 The World's Top Fund Managers.


Martin Gray

Martin began his fund management career in 1979, he established the investment division of a UK authorised company in 1987, becoming a director in 1990. Martin joined Miton Group plc as a fund manager and director in 1994 and has been responsible for the management of the CF Miton Strategic Portfolio since launch in December 1996 and also the CF Miton Special Situations Portfolio which was launched a year later. Martin has won numerous fund management awards including the coveted asset allocator of the year award. Martin became a manager of the CF Miton Total Return Fund in August 2008 and the Miton Global Diversified Income Fund in May 2012.

Nick Greenwood

Nick commenced his career in private client stock broking during the late 1970s. Nick was a founder member of Christows stockbroking operation in 1991. He joined the Christows Investment Trust team setting up their London office in 1995 and became lead manager in November 1997. Nick joined iimia in July 2002; iimia Accelerated was launched in April 2003 and was followed by iimia Investment Trust Nick became Chief Investment Officer following the merger with Exeter Fund Managers in August 2005.

A subsequent merger with Miton Asset Management occurred in November 2007 and the iiT changed its name to the Miton Worldwide Growth Investment Trust in 2010.
iimia Accelerated was renamed to Miton Select Assets in July 2009 and subsequently changed to CF Miton Worldwide Opportunities Fund in October 2012.

Hugh Grieves

Hugh joined Miton Group plc in January 2013 having previously worked for Herald Investment where he was responsible for managing the Herald Worldwide Fund. From 2000-2008 he co-managed the technology funds at Societe Generale Asset Management Ltd with Alan Torry and sole managed the funds from 2008-2009. Prior to that he worked from 1995-2000 in the US smaller companies team at Gartmore, having graduated from Bristol in Economics. Hugh is a CFA charterholder.

Georgina Hamilton

Prior to joining Miton, Georgina was the lead analyst for Matterley's flagship Undervalued Assets Fund from January 2009. Georgina has a double first in Biological Anthropology and Natural Sciences from Jesus College, Cambridge and is a CFA charterholder.

Martin Turner

Martin Turner joined Miton Group plc in May 2011. Prior to Miton, Martin has spent nearly 20 years in the City. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in 1995 before moving to Rothschild and in time on to Head of Pan European Mid and Small Caps Sales at Merrill Lynch. Following this, Martin was Head of Sales at Teathers/Landsbanki before taking the Head of Small/Mid Cap Equities role covering research, sales and trading at Collins Stewart. Martin and Gervais have worked closely since 2004, and their expertise and skills are expected to complement each other in seeking to deliver premium returns for their investors.
Martin is Fund Manager on the CF Miton UK Multi Cap Income Fund (previously Acuim UK Multi Cap Income Fund), CF Miton UK Smaller Companies Fund and the Diverse Income Trust plc.  

Gervais Williams

Gervais Williams currently manages the Diverse Income Trust plc alongside the CF Miton UK Multi Cap Income Fund, CF Miton UK Smaller Companies Fund and is Managing Director of Miton Group plc. Gervais has been an equity portfolio manager since 1985. His career includes 5 years with Throgmorton Investment Management (later part of the Framlington Group), 3 years with Thornton Investment Management (part of Dresdner Bank) and 17 years with Gartmore Group Ltd where he was head of UK Small Companies investing in UK smaller companies and Irish equities. He won Investor of the Year awarded by Grant Thornton at their Quoted Company dinner in both 2009 and 2010. He has sat on two DTI committees on the quoted small cap sector, is a member of the AIM Advisory Council and recently joined the Board of Quoted Companies Alliance.
